Rangers Set £3 million asking price for out-of-favor Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers

Scottish Premier League side, Glasgow Rangers, have set an asking price of over £3 million for Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers amid growing interest from multiple clubs.
Dessers has been in impressive form recently, scoring six goals and providing two assists in his last five games for Rangers.
This resurgence in performance has attracted attention, particularly from Italian Serie A club, Cagliari, who have been leading the race to sign him. However, the new price tag might prompt Cagliari to reconsider their pursuit of the 30-year-old striker.
Rangers signed Dessers from Cremonese in 2023 for a fee of £4 million and are now looking to recoup their investment based on his current form.
Despite the transfer speculation, Dessers has started Rangers’ last two matches, showing that he remains an integral part of manager Philippe Clement’s plans.
As the winter transfer window nears its close, all eyes will be on how this situation unfolds, with Rangers’ valuation of Dessers set to influence his potential move.
