Rangers Women crowned champions of 2025 Judith Chime Championship

Rangers Women were crowned champions of the 2025 Judith Chime Championship, tagged Enugu 2025, as the tournament came to a fitting conclusion at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, on Saturday.

Miracle Onwe was the hero of the final, scoring once in each half to lead Rangers Women to a 2–0 victory and secure the championship title.

In addition to the ₦500,000 star prize, the Coal City Women went home with the giant trophy, extending the tournament’s unique record of producing a different winner in each of the last three editions.

Rangers Women also dominated the individual honours at the championship. Goalkeeper Ekene Favour was named joint Best Goalkeeper of the tournament alongside Ebere Nzuko of Awka Angels.

Midfielder Gold Uzodinma emerged as the joint Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the competition, further underlining Rangers Women’s impressive showing.

Agnes Ohuche of Giant Empress claimed the Golden Boot award after finishing as the tournament’s top scorer with 13 goals, while Glory Orban of UYPG, Benue State, was named the Youngest Player of the Tournament.

Awka Angels finished as runners-up, while Giant Empress secured the third-place trophy.
