Rasheedat Ajibade bags assist as Atletico Madrid share spoils with Levante

Nigeria forward Rasheedat Ajibade provided an assist for Spanish Liga F side Atletico Madrid during a 2-2 draw with Levante on Sunday.

The capital side had a 2-0 lead in the first half but surrendered their advantage later on.

Fiamma Iannuzzi opened scoring for the travelers in the 23rd minute at the Ciudad Deportiva de Bunol.

Five minutes later, Ajibade set up Ana Vitoria for the second.

In the 42nd minute, Ivonne Chacon reduced the deficit for the host.

Angela Sosa had the chance to level the scoreline from the penalty spot which she did in the 75th minute.

Ajibade was replaced by Synne Jensen in the 82nd minute.

She has scored six goals with three assists for Atletico Madrid in the league this season.

Atletico Madrid occupy the third position on the Spanish Liga F table with 49 points after 27 games.

They will next face Athletic Bilbao in another league encounter in the race to qualify for European football.
