Ratels boss Paul Edeh and ex-Eagles Godwin Uwua eye Benue FA chairmanship post

Naija Ratels proprietor Barrister Paul Edeh and former Nigeria international Godwin Koko Uwua are among the football administrators jostling for the Chairmanship seat of the Benue State Football Association (BSFA).
Besides Barrister Edeh who is from Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu, Uwua is from Gwer/Gwer West eyeing the seat of chairmanship of the north central football association, Jerry Avungu is also in the race to head BSFA.
Others contesting including, Alex Awuna also from Gwer/Gwer West who indicated intention to vie for Vice Chairman, Barr Lubem Ukpo (Gboko/Tarka), Hon Veronica Kpindi (Katsina/Ukum/Logo, Atoo Aindigh (Buruku), Godwin Akpa (Apa/Agatu), Onwanyi Ulegede (Obi/Oju), Francis Ejiga (Otukpo/Ohimini) and Marcel Akaasar (Vandeikya, Konshisha).
NigeriaFootball.ng understands outgoing chairman Honourable Margaret Icheen will be stepping down as the chairman after three successful consecutive terms and paving way new persons to vie for the exalted football administrative post in Benue.
Chairman of the electoral committee, Barr Msugh Aga, said sales of forms ended on Friday May 26, with Chairmanship form sold for N200,000, while Vice Chairman form is N150,000 and board member fee is N100,000.
Candidates are expected to submit their forms on June 1, while the screening of candidates will follow suit.
The BSFA election will hold on the 17th of Juneat Empire Suites, David Mark By Pass Makurdi.
