Richarlison price tag revealed by report as Arsenal tipped to win race for in-form Everton attacker

A report has revealed how much Richarlison will cost if Arsenal come in with a bid for the Everton star this summer.

The attacker, who can operate as a centre-forward or left winger, began the season well. He registered a goal and assist as Everton beat Southampton 3-1 on the opening day.

Richarlison has also found the net in Premier League matches against Watford, Arsenal and Norwich.

However, a barren run between January and April didn’t help Everton’s cause in their fight against relegation.

Richarlison is back in the groove, having notched four strikes in his last five league outings. That includes a brace against Burnley, although the Toffees lost that game 3-2 at home.

The Brazil international gave Everton a huge boost by scoring the only goal during their 1-0 victory over Chelsea on Sunday.

They are two points from getting out of the relegation zone and also have a game in hand on both Burnley and Leeds.

Football Insider reveal Everton are willing to cash in on Richarlison this summer.

Richarlison sale could be key to Everton overhaul

His goals could keep them in the top flight, but club chiefs know they will need to complete a squad overhaul at the end of the season. And selling the 24-year-old will give them a big boost in terms of transfer funds.

The report claims Everton will accept offers worth £50million for Richarlison. This is the exact amount Everton paid Watford for him back in July 2018.

But Toffees officials think his good form could get them more money in the transfer window. They are hopeful more than one club will make an offer, therefore starting a potential bidding war.

Football Insider don’t reveal any specific club as holding an interest. Recently, though, Tim Sherwood backed Richarlison to end up at Arsenal. He also questioned Everton’s ability to ask for big money if they go down – something chiefs at Goodison Park will have to consider.

“Would Richarlison stick around in the Championship?” asked Sherwood during an appearance on Sky Sports. “What about the rest of them?

“[Abdoulaye] Doucoure is too good for that. All of them will feel they are too good for the Championship.

“They (Everton) might have to give them away for (little) because it depends on how the finances are at the club. They might have to give them away.

“I think Richarlison has a move in him. I think he has the connection to get himself a move to Arsenal or somewhere like that.

“People will look at him and think ‘in a better side, he might be able to step up’.”
