Rinsola Babajide helps Real Betis escape Spanish Liga F relegation

Nigeria-eligible forward, Rinsola Babajide helped Real Betis escaped relegation from Spanish Liga F after holding Osinachi Ohale’s Deportivo Alaves to a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Both sides are faced with similar fortunes, with relegation in sight and started on an impressive note with several chances, forcing each other’s goalkeepers, Gaelle Thalmann and Patricia Larque into saves.
Elba Verges broke the deadlock in the 36th minute from a set piece located Esther Laborde whose attempt fell to Verges to score the first goal for Alaves.
Betis swiftly searched for the equalizer including hitting the crossbar twice.
The equalizer finally came in the 71st minute after a foul inside the box resulted in a penalty.

The team seats in the 12th position with 25 points after 29 games, five points out of the relegation battle.
Ohale played for 81 minutes before she came off for Carla Morera and her team, Alaves occupy in the last position on the log with 20 points, two points short of safety.
