Robo Queens, Dannaz Ladies zoom to 2023 Lagos FA Cup final

Dannaz Ladies defeated Dream Stars 6-1 to book a place in the final of the Lagos FA Cup for the second consecutive time.

Both sides last met in the previous Lagos FA Cup semifinal which ended in a lone goal victory for Dannaz Ladies (The Cedars).

The Cedars had a three goal lead by the end of the first 45 minutes leaving Dream Stars (The Galaticas) searching for a goal in the game.

The second half saw an improvement from The Galaticas as they surged forward to get a goal but exposed their defense which the Cedars took advantage of.

Dream Stars were able to pull a goal back from the penalty spot and conceded three more goals in the second half from Dannaz Ladies.

Robo Queens had a healthy 12-0 win against Lagos FA Cup debutants CAT Ladies in the second semifinal game to set up a final clash with Dannaz Ladies.

It will be the second consecutive time that Robo Queens and Dannaz Ladies will be meeting in the Lagos FA Cup final as they met last year and the Lagos Landladies defeated the Cedars 4-0 to lift the trophy for the 12th time.
