Rofiat Imuran scores as Reims upend Dijon

Nigeria left winger, Rofiat Imuran was part of the goal scorers as her French D1 Arkema side, Stade de Reims secured a 3-1 win over Dijon on Sunday.
Relegation-threatened Dijon had lost four of its last five games, while Reims celebrated three wins from its previous five games.
Haiti women’s national team forward, Melchie Dumornay gave the host an early lead inside four minute as they started the encounter on a bright note.
Determined to deactivate its fifth loss in a row, Dijon equalized in the 52nd minute thanks to Maria Diaz.
Dumornay, however restored Amandine Miquel’s side lead in the 69th minute but Imuran struck to increase the lead to victory to seal a well-deserved win for the hosts in the 89th minute.
The goal was her second of the league campaign since she joined the team from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, Rivers Angels alongside Oluwatosin Demehin.
She played the full 90 minutes while her compatriot, Demehin replaced Jade Rastocle in the 93rd minute.
Reims occupy the sixth position on the log with 32 points after 21 games.
