Rumour Mill: Shooting Stars’ Kelly Kester inches closer to Bendel Insurance switch

Experienced Shooting Stars’ midfielder Kelly Kester is on the verge of joining Federation Cup champions, Insurance FC ahead of 2023/2024 football season, Nigeriafootball.ng learnt.

Kester who joined the Oluyole Warriors at the start of last season after a sojourn in Eastern Europe is being discussed to join notable top clubs next Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL including champions, Enyimba FC.

The veteran midfielder is understood to have turned offers to join the People Elephant for a second stint and as well rejected a lucrative deal tabled by Rivers United.

Our reporter also scooped that Kester will be accepting the deal from the Benin Arsenals who are looking to fortify their team for the new season following their qualification for the preliminary phase of the CAF Confederation Cup and have identified the experienced midfielder as an addition quality.

Kester did not renew his contract with Shooting with has paved an easy way for Insurance to land the former Lobi Stars player.
