Rumour Mills: Chelsea add US star Christian Pulisic in Victor Osimhen offer to Napoli

Chelsea are set to add Christian Pulisic in a transfer package to lure Victor Osimhen away from Italian giants Napoli.

The Blues are  reportedly one of several leading sides in Europe to have turned their attention towards Nigeria international Osimhen after the 24-year-old striker registered 25 goals through 29 appearances for the Italian side.

The US international winger has struggled for form and fitness at times this season, while facing fierce competition for places, and would help to sweeten a deal for Osimhen as Napoli would be landing another attacker while reluctantly bidding farewell to their superstar centre forward.

Napoli owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis is not willing to part with Osimhen for a transfer fee less than 120 million euros but Chelsea will be using Pulisic as makeweight in the deal to secure the 23-cap Nigerian player.

Chelsea are planning to overhaul their squad in the summer with Pulisic one of the players tipped for the exit door.

The American will not consider staying at Stamford Bridge next season as he looked sure fl struggle for playing times with the arrival of Noni Madueke and expected return of Christopher Nkunku couples with likely permanent signing of Joao Felix.
