Rumour Mills: Inter Milan set deadline to land Ademola Lookman from Atalanta

By Wale Mustapha

Inter Milan are pushing to finalize the signing of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman from Atalanta, with a deadline reportedly set to conclude the deal.

The Serie A giants remain determined to bring the 27-year-old Super Eagles winger to the San Siro this summer, despite having an initial offer turned down.

Atalanta are holding firm on their €50 million valuation, while Inter are hoping to negotiate the fee down to around €40 million.

According to Football Italia, Inter will reopen talks with Atalanta this week in a bid to strike a compromise. Lookman is said to have already agreed personal terms with the Nerazzurri, signaling his intent to make the move.

The deal could see Lookman reunite with Inter’s new head coach, Cristian Chivu, as the club looks to bolster its attacking options ahead of the new season.
