Rumour Mill: Kelechi Iheanacho set to join AS Roma

Europa League finalists AS Roma are reportedly weighing up the possibility of signing Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho from Leicester City this summer.
The Nigerian forward finished last season strongly, winning the Leicester City Player of the Season award despite the team’s relegation.
Following their drop, Leicester City are set to lose some of their best legs. Especially as some of their big stars are in the final laps of their contracts.
With Roma star striker Tammy Abraham set to miss the first half of the season, Iheanacho is one of the options that they are looking at.
According to Roma Press, the Giallorossi general manager Tiago Pinto traveled to London earlier today on transfer business, and a meeting with the Foxes for a move for the Nigerian is said to be on his agenda.
Roma are said to have made initial contacts, however, nothing has been decided yet as they are still evaluating some profiles in their bid to strengthen their squad.
Meanwhile, Iheanacho has just one year left on his deal, and he has failed to reach an agreement for an extension with the club.
