English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have initiated preliminary enquiries into the availability of Nigerian youth international Sani Suleiman, following the winger’s standout performances at the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Sources close to the club reveal that Spurs have begun gathering information regarding the 19-year-old’s contractual status and potential transfer options ahead of upcoming windows.
Suleiman, who currently plays for AS Trenčín in the Slovak Super Liga, has attracted growing interest across Europe thanks to his explosive pace, creativity, and knack for delivering in high-pressure moments.
His performances in Argentina at the U-20 World Cup caught the attention of top scouts, including representatives from Tottenham and Scottish giants Rangers.
Further boosting his reputation, the CIES Football Observatory recently rated Suleiman as the most complete U-21 winger globally, based on seven key performance metrics.
He was also named among the top 200 U-20 outfield players in world football, underscoring his growing stature.
Tottenham are believed to be tracking Suleiman’s development closely as part of their long-term recruitment strategy focused on elite youth talent.
