Rumour: Victor Osimhen could replace Lionel Messi at PSG

Italian agent Andrea D’Amico believes Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is an option for Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain who could see him as an option to replace Lionel Messi.

The want-away 24-year-old has been a summer target for several European clubs given his form for Napoli this season.

The Nigeria international has scored 21 goals in just 23 appearances to fire the Partenopei 16 points clear at the top of the Italian with 10 matches to go.

PSG on the other hand could be in the market for a striker this summer after reports that World Cup winner, Lionel Messi, has decided to end his adventure in France this summer, with Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal a likely destination.

D’Amico however believes PSG could be an option for the Napoli star whom he described as the best striker in the world.

“I think he won’t lack options, especially in England even if PSG can’t be underestimated, because they could lose an important player in attack. Messi will go to Miami, but this is only my feeling,” Italian radio program Tutti Convocati.
