Samuel Chukwueze opens Milan’s goal account in unofficial debut against Novara

Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze has begin life at his new club with his first goal for the Rossoneri in a preseason tie against Novara.
The Super Eagles star pounced on a costly error made by a Novara player, and drive it to the goal area, dribbled past the Canadian goalie, Axel Desjardins, and slotted it to the net.
The former Villarreal attacker scored the opening goal in the ninth minute for his new team as they recorded a 4-2 win over Novara.
The 24-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Villarreal for a deal worth about €20 million plus €8 million in add-ons.
Also on target for Milan was Switzerland international of Nigerian descent Noah Okafor, who provided the assist for Chukwueze.
While Okafor was replaced before the start of the second half, Chukwueze went off with three minutes to the end of game.
AC Milan will travel to tackle Bologna in their first Serie A games on August 21, and the Nigerian star will be looking to make an impact.
