Sapphire Nigeria Women Football Supporters Club hit Ikenne, declare support for NWFL Premiership Super Six

As the 2024/25 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership Super Six hits the ground running in Ikenne, Ogun state, Nigeria, Sapphire Nigeria Women Football Supporters Club is at the venue of the tournament.

The President of the supporters club, Jadesola Adelabu, who is present at the competition, expressed support for the season-ending tournament.

Six (6) teams currently jostling for the coveted league title with the chance to qualify for continental football.

“We are here to lend our support to the league as far as the Super Six is concerned,” Jadesola said.

“As strong supporters of women’s football, Sapphire Nigeria is here in Ikenne to continue the support while wishing the league a hitch-free tournament.”

She wished all participating teams the best of luck as they continue to play for the league title.

“Sapphire Nigeria Women Football Supporters Club wishes all the six teams the best of luck and hopes the best team wins the title and represents the country well on the continent.” She concluded.

Edo Queens, Remo Stars Ladies, Nasarawa Amazons, Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, and Naija Ratels FC are the six teams taking part in the title-deciding competition.

The league has produced four different winners since 2021 with Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens, and Edo Queens winning the trophy on those occasions.
