Sergio Pellissier: Former Italy forward names Osimhen as best forward in the world

Former Italian forward, Sergio Pellissier has stated that Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen is one of the best Strikers in the world.

The Super Eagles forward is currently the top goal scorer in the Italian Serie A despite missing around a month due to injury.

The 23-year-old former Lille player has scored 10 goals in 14 games across all competitions for Napoli this season.

Osimhen’s current form is attracting interest from top European teams like Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Real Madrid.

Pellissier believed that Victor’s goal-scoring form will play a pivotal role in Napoli’s push for the league title this season.

“I’ve been saying for years that Victor Osimhen is among the most complete there is at the moment,” Pellissier told TMW.

“This year he’s doing extraordinary things, making a difference. He’s the one who’s making Napoli better, I see him as the best.”

Osimhen joined Napoli from Ligue 1 club, Lille in 2020 and has a contract with the Partenopei until 2025.

He played for Wolfsburg in Germany and Charleroi in Belgium before joining Lille ahead of the 2019/2020 league season.
