Serie A: Ivan Juric praises Lookman after crucial Atalanta equalizer against AC Milan

By Wale Mustapha

Atalanta manager Ivan Juric has lauded Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman for his match-winning display in Tuesday’s 1-1 Serie A draw with AC Milan at Gewiss Stadium.

The home side fell behind early when Samuele Ricci’s effort deflected into the net, but Lookman struck back before halftime, firing home an equalizer after a precise setup from Mario Pašalić, rescuing a valuable point for La Dea.

Juric spoke glowingly of the Super Eagles forward, describing him as a standout talent.

“He is a particular type of guy, both in training and on the pitch. He is a sight to behold, just a spectacular player,” Juric told DAZN Italia.

The Atalanta coach added: “A winner, with incredible determination, and I am very happy for him.”

Lookman’s performance continues to cement his reputation as one of Serie A’s most impactful attacking talents, further boosting his prospects with both club and country.
