SGFC Athletic Sports set up Kwara FA Cup semifinal clash with Kwara United

SGFC Athletic Sports will be taking on Kwara United in the semifinals of the Kwara Stage FA Cup.
The Nationwide League One, NLO side dashed all the prayers from House of Prayers FC brought for the match with a 2-0 win in the quarterfinal.
A brace from enterprising forward Sunday Ekene helps SGFC to a comfortable win on Wednesday.
Ekene’s goals came in the 60th and 75th minutes courtesy of a double assist from team captain Anthony Jegede as the Eagles saw off their opponents.
They are one leg away from making it to the national finals but will have to navigate through a tough task against the perennial champions of the state FA Cup, Kwara United.
The semifinal match is set to take place on Friday by at Kwara Football Academy, KFA pitch in Ilorin by 10am.
This is the second time both teams will be meeting in a spate on a month with Kwara United taken the upper hand after a 1-0 friendly win early in the month of February.
The winner of this second off will be taking on eventual winner in the second semifinal match between ABS FC and Foresight FA in the final match billed for next Wednesday.
