Shooting Stars clinch 2023 Oyo State FA Cup title

Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) on Thursday emerge as Champions of the 2023 Oyo State FA Cup.

Gbenga Ogunbote side pipped Ilaji FC 1-0 to clinch the State FA Cup.

Joshua Akpan’s 39th-minute goal separated both sides in the final match at the Olubadan Stadium.

Earlier on, Oyo Alaafin FC edged Iseyin Rocks FC 2-1 to win the third-place match.

Kareem Yussuf opened the scoring for Oyo Alaafin FC and doubled his side’s lead in the 52nd minute.

Two minutes later, Kolawole Abdullahi reduced the deficit for Iseyin Rocks FC.
