SPL: Dessers scores twice in Rangers’ humiliation of Ross County

Nigerian striker Cyril Dessers scored twice as Rangers thrashed Ross County 6-0 in the Scottish Premier League on Saturday.

Dessers, who was rumored to leave Rangers in the summer, has been in outstanding form this season.

He opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a close-range strike, assisted by Tom Lawrence’s precise cross. Rabbi Matondo then extended Rangers’ lead with a goal just before halftime.

Dessers completed his brace two minutes before the hour mark, converting a well-worked cutback from Matondo.

Lawrence added the fourth goal for Rangers, and Matondo scored his second of the game shortly thereafter.

Brazilian midfielder Danilo rounded off the scoring with the sixth goal, sealing a dominant victory that lifted Rangers to the top of the league table.
