Stade De Reims players give guard of honor to Nigeria’s Women’s World Cup stars

Super Falcons World Cup players of Stade De Reims received guard of honor on return to club football following their exploits at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Nigeria crashed out of the tournament following their loss through penalties to the Lionesses of England in the round of 16 but already, they have exceeded the pre-tournament expectations.
For the first time in history, the team finished her group unbeaten despite being up against higher-ranked teams.
On Friday, August 18, 2023, French side Stade de Reims welcomed their Nigerian players, Tosin Demehin and Rofiat Imuran back to the club.
During the World Cup, Demehin featured for the entirety of all Super Falcons games in defense along with the experienced Osinachi Ohale.
Imuran on the other hand was an unused substitute but gained valuable tournament experience.
In the video, the duo were given a guard of honor by their Stade de Reims teammates.
Along with the video was a message that said, “Reunion post #FIFAWWC for @tosindemehin, @RofiatImuran17 and the Reims group. Welcome home.”
