Sunday Adetunji: Nigeria striker emerges best foreign player award in Macedonia

Nigeria striker, Sunday Adetunji has emerged as the best foreign player in the Macedonia First Football League.

The excited FC Shkupi goal poacher took to social media to announce the news on his official Instagram handle

And the former Shooting Stars forward has dedicated the award to his fans and supporters on his journey.

“I am back to work at FC Shkupi. Excited to received my award as the 2022 Best Foreign Player in the League,” Adetunji wrote.

“I am dedicating the award to everyone who has supported my career.”

The former Abia Warriors goal poacher also grabbed the highest goal scorer gong in the Macedonia First Football League by scoring 20 goals in the 2021/2022 season to help FC Shkupi to their first league title.

The 26-year-old made his debut for Nigeria in a 4-0 loss to Mexico in an international friendly game on July 4 2021.
