As of Wednesday, Nigeria’s senior men’s national team camp consists of 16 players.

On Tuesday, 11 players arrived early in camp: Dessers Cyriel, Nathan Tella, Simon Moses, Nwabali Stanley, Fisayo Bashiru, Basey Calvin, Iwobi Alex, Jamilu Collins, Semi Ajayi, Bruno Onyeamachi, and Sadiq Umar.

Later, Olorunleke Ojo, Raphael Onyedika, Benjamin Tanimu, Alhassan Yusuf, and Ademola Lookman joined, bringing the total to 16.

Today, six more players are expected: Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Francis Uzoho, Chidozie Awaziem, Frank Onyeka, and Bright Osayi Samuel.

Meanwhile, coach George Finidi has convened with Super Eagles team officials as he prepares to lead the team in international friendlies against Ghana and Mali.

Finidi, a former Ajax Amsterdam and Real Betis winger, who made his scoring debut for Nigeria in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Burkina Faso in July 1991, has been appointed by the NFF to lead the team temporarily.

They will face Ghana and Mali in this month’s international window, with the match against Mali scheduled for Tuesday, 26th March, at the Grand Stade de Marrakech.
