Super Eagles Resume Training Ahead of Jordan Friendly After Iran Victory

Nigeria’s senior men’s national team are set to resume training on Saturday as preparations intensify for their second international friendly against Jordan national football team on Tuesday.

Nigeria head into the session in high spirits following a 2–1 win over Iran national football team, their first match since the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Goals from Moses Simon and Akor Adams gave Nigeria a comfortable lead before Iran pulled one back late in the encounter.

Focus has now shifted to the clash against Jordan, with the coaching crew expected to fine-tune tactics and further integrate players during training sessions.

Despite missing out on qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the technical bench is making full use of the current FIFA international window to assess new invitees and strengthen squad cohesion ahead of future competitions.

Nigeria will face Jordan on Tuesday, March 31, with kickoff scheduled for 8:00 pm as the team continues its rebuilding process.
