Super Falcons camp bubbles ahead of Indomitable Lionesses clash

Players of Nigeria’s senior women’s national team have been arriving Ijebu Ode camp ahead of their two legged friendly matches against Cameroon.

As at 18: 55hrs on Monday, 18 of the 23 Super Falcons invited for the friendly matches against Cameroon had arrived at the team’s Am2pm Hotel in Ijebu-Ode.

Captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, Michelle Alozie, Toni Payne, Francisca Ordega, and Omorinsola Babajide are early birds.

Fresh from winning the English Women’s Championship and gaining promotion to the Women’s Super League (WSL), London City Lionesses Rofiat Imuran alongside Oluwatosin Demehin, Olamide Bolaji, Josephine Mathias, Sikiratu Isah, and Jennifer Echegini are also in camp.

Mexican Women’s league champion, Osinachi Ohale, Amarachi Odoma, Morufa Ademola, Miracle Usani, Emem Essien, Blessing Ilivieda, and Linda Jiwuaku complete the squad of players in Ijebu Ode.

On 31st May, the first match will take place at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo.

Tis will be followed by the second encounter with the Central Africa giants on 3rd June at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta).
