Super Falcons camp swells to 22 as Francisca Ordega arrives Gold Coast

Russian based Nigerian forward, Francisca Ordega has arrived Super Falcons camp ahead of this month’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The former Levante UD and Washington Spirit player arrived at the team camp in Gold Coast, Australia on Saturday. Her arrival increased the number of players in camp to 22.
Before her arrival, 21 players were in camp as of July 5 with 18 players taking part in the team’s first training a day later at Gold Coast Sports Centre. The most recent arrivals were the quartet of Gift Monday, Esther Okoronkwo and Tochukwu Oluehi were rested for July 6 training sessions.
Meanwhile, Rosengard midfielder Halimatu Ayinde from Sweden is the only player yet to arrive at camp as of July 8.
The nine-time African champions will be making its ninth appearance at the FIFA Women’s World Cup this year after featuring at every edition of the tournament since inception in 1991.
