Nigerian international Glory Ogbonna has announced her departure from Turkish club Beşiktaş after spending two years with the team.

The 26-year-old centre-back joined Beşiktaş in 2023 from fellow Turkish side ALG Spor.

Taking to social media, Ogbonna expressed heartfelt gratitude to her teammates, coaching staff, club officials, and fans for their support during her time in Istanbul. “You all always make sure that love leads,” she wrote, wishing the club success in future seasons.

Ogbonna previously played for Edo Queens in Nigeria’s NWFL in 2019.

She has also played in Europe for Umeå IK in Sweden and Santa Teresa in Spain.
