Super-sub Roosa Ariyo on target in Club Brugge thrashing of Eendracht Aalst

Nigeria international Roosa Ariyo was on target as Club Brugge thrashed Eendracht Aalst 6-1 in a Belgian Women Super League encounter on Saturday.
Brugge bounced back from their big defeat when they terribly lost 5-1 away at OH Leuven in their final match of 2022.
Ludmila Matavkova opened the scoring from the spot just three minutes into game before Celien Guns double the lead just five minutes later. Davinia Vanmechelen extend the lead before Frieke Temmerman reduced the deficit before halftime.
After the restart, Sakina Ouzraoui Diki, Lynsey Van Belle added the fourth and ffifth goals of the match before substitute Ariyo struck six minutes from time to complete the rout.
The 28-year-old who made her debut with Nigeria’s women’s national team during the four-nation invitational tournament in the United States in June 2021, has now scored six goals in four matches.
The victory moves Club Brugge to fifth position on the table and they will next face Zulte Waregem at the Gemeentelijk Sportcentrum on February 4.
