By Saheed Afolabi
Nottingham Forest striker, Taiwo Awoniyi broke the club’s highest goal scored by a player in the Premier League after his goal in the final day of the season’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Awoniyi scored ten goals this season in the EPL for Forest despite spending some weeks on the treatment table.
He also became the first Forest player to score in four consecutive matches since 1995 and Nottingham Forest took the lead from a nice finish from Awoniyi off an Gibbs-White assist.
Crystal Palace were dragged back in the game as through a great finish from Hughes to draw both teams on level terms.
Super Eagles forward, Awoniyi marked his Premier League debut season with a record ten goals for Forest.
Nottingham Forest finished the season in the 16th position with 38 points from 38 matches.
