“The goal lord” — Chiamaka Nnadozie dubs Victor Osimhen with a fitting nickname

By: Monsurah Olatunji

Nigeria goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has hailed Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen for his continued goal-scoring brilliance in the Turkish Super Lig with Galatasaray.

Nnadozie’s praise for Osimhen came after the African Player of the Year shared a training picture on his Instagram ahead of Galatasaray’s upcoming match against Eyüpspor on Sunday.

Osimhen has been in superb form, having scored six goals and provided two assists in just seven league matches this season, playing a crucial role in Galatasaray’s attack.

In admiration of his resilience and consistent performance, Nnadozie, who was instrumental in the Super Falcons’ defensive efforts in their recent friendly against France, took a moment to comment on Osimhen’s post.

She simply wrote: “The Goal Lord.”

Nnadozie’s accolades extend beyond her praise for Osimhen, as the reigning African Women’s Player of the Year is also in contention for the 2024 Women’s Player of the Year award.

The winner of this prestigious title will be announced at the CAF Awards Gala in Morocco later this month.
