Niger Tornadoes defender, Ahmed Family, has vowed to help his team secure a much-needed victory when they face Rivers United in the Nigeria Premier Football League encounter.

The match is set to take place at the Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium in Minna on Monday as family expressed the team’s determination to break their home winless streak in the league this season.

“Our top priority is to break our winless streak at home,” Family said during a pre-match interview. “We’ll do everything we can to ensure Rivers United falls in Minna.”

The defender reiterated that the team is fully aware of their weaknesses and is committed to addressing them.

“We know where the problems are and we are ready to correct them. There will be no hiding place for Rivers United—we are focused and prepared for the challenge,” he added.

Niger Tornadoes will be hoping that their focus and determination will lead them to their first home win of the season, as they aim to bounce back from a string of disappointing results.
