“This means a lot to me” – Amobi Ezeaku reflects on historic NPFL debut with Rangers

General Manager and Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Enugu Rangers, Amobi Ezeaku is over the moon after making his professional debut for the club as a player.
The legal luminary came in as a second half substitute in his club’s 2-0 away win against Niger Tornadoes in the Matchday 23 of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL in Kaduna on Sunday.
Two first half goals from Chidiebere Nwobodo and Godwin Obaje gave the Flying Antelopes their fourth consecutive victory and clean sheets in the league.
Ezeaku who hailed the team’s incredible performance noted that it’s a fulfillment of long term dream to play for Tornadoes just as he relishing having more game times for the club.
“I woke up in tears, fulfilled. This means a lot to me. To wear the badge of this great Club.
“To fight for this badge and the people who love this. To fight for our Ancestors and protection of our history.
“I was born loving this game and this Club. I will die loving this game and this Club. This is beyond the game. This is more than the game. This is my life, we are Rangers International F.C of Enugu,” Amobi stated on his X handle.
Rangers are currently third on the NPFL log with 40 points from 23 matches and will be taking on Kwara United in their next match in Enugu.
