Tolu Arokodare faces seven weeks spell on the sideline after successful surgery

Niger forward, Tolu Arokodare has successfully undergone surgery and he will face several weeks on the sideline.
The KRC Genk player sustained the injury in a 3-0 league game win against Oostende as he spent 11 minutes on the pitch.
NigeriaFootball.ng understands that Tolu is likely to be out for at least seven weeks but Genk team doctor, Philip Thus believes his early return could depend on a ‘few things’.
”There is a degenerative and acute crack, the first crack is mainly caused by wear and tear and must be treated with surgery, physiotherapy, and medication and his return depends on a few things,” he told Het Belang Van Limburg.
Genk will face STVV in their next Belgian Pro League game on the fifth of March 2023 as they ist atop the league table with 66 points in 27 matches.
