Tosin Omoyele: Nigeria striker opens goal account in Kenchala away win at Belouizdad

Nigerian striker, Tosin Omoyele scored his first goal of the new Algerian top-flight season to help USM Khenchela recorded a famous 3-2 win against champions Chabab Belouizdad on Saturday, nigeriafootball.ng reports.
The former Plateau United and Enyimba striker was handed his first match of the season and did not disappoint with his incredible performance that ensured Kenchala make it three wins out of three league games in the me campaign.
Omoyele put the visitors in front inside opening seven minutes as he showed brilliant composure to shoot past Belouizdad goalkeeper Alexis Guendouz after an error by veteran midfielder Adlene Guediora.
Belouizdad netted the equalizer following serious pressure on Kenchala that led to Nabil Saadou putting the ball in his own net in the 25th minute.
The visitors regained the lead with few minutes before half time as Hamza Rebiai tapped home from close range after Guendouz spilled a long range free kick onto his path.
The hosts however ensured that both teams were even at half time when Oussama Darfalou, unmarked inside the box finished into the bottom right to make the scores 2-2.
Belouizdad came out stronger after the break and could have be in front for the first time in the match when they were awarded a penalty after Kenchala defender was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box.
Kenchala goalkeeper Sofiane Khedairia however pulled off a magnificent save to deny Darfalou from twelve yards.
As the game was heading to a stalemate, Omoyele produced another magical moment as he held the ball down before feeding Sid Ali Lamri who was fouled in the box with just a minute of normal time left.
Midfielder Hassen Ogbi Benhadouche scored the spot kick to give Khenchela a famous win over the reigning league champions.
The important win has however keep Omoyele’s team in second spot on the log by virtue of goal difference behind MC Alger who have played more games.
Khenchela’s tough run of fixtures continue when they face reigning CAF Confederation Cup champions USM Alger on Tuesday in Algiers.
