TotalEnergies U23 AFCON Qualifiers Draw On Thursday
The draw for the qualifiers of the TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2023 will happen on Thursday 18 August 2022 at 13:00 Cairo time (11:00 GMT).
The draw might be streamed reside on CAF digital platforms.
The TotalEnergies U23 Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2023 scheduled in June 2023 in Morocco and can function qualifying event to the Summer season Olympics #Paris2024.
39 Member Associations are engaged in African qualifiers. Morocco are mechanically certified as hosts to the ultimate event. The remaining 38 groups will play the qualifiers.
Qualifiers Schedule:
First Spherical (Residence and Away): 19 to 27 September 2022
Second Spherical (First Leg/Second Leg): 21 – 23 October 2022/28-30 October 2022
Third Spherical (First Leg/Second Leg): 20 to twenty-eight March 2023
Procedures of the drawing of numerous the qualifiers of the U23 Africa Cup of Nations
Format:
– 1st spherical: the 20 least ranked groups will play the first spherical (knock out from dwelling & away matches) qualifying 10 groups to the 2nd spherical.
– 2nd spherical: The ten groups certified from the first spherical + the 18 exempted from the first spherical will play the 2nd spherical (knock out from dwelling & away *matches) qualifying 14 groups to the third spherical.
– third spherical: The 14 groups certified from the 2nd spherical will play the third spherical (knock out from dwelling & away matches) qualifying 7 groups to the ultimate event along with the host nation Morocco.

7 groups from COSAFA: Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique & Namibia
