Transfer News: Bayern Munich join chase for Victor Osimhen

German giants Bayern Munich have joined the race in bid for the signing of Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen has been in superb form for Napoli this season, scoring 25 goals both in the domestic and Champions League for Napoli.
The Super Eagles striker who is also wanted by Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG had recently played down any plans of an immediate move away from Napoli.
Sources in Germany on Tuesday claimed that the Bavarians officials had open talks with the representatives of Osimhen over a possible move in the summer and both parties met in March.
According to sources in Bayern camp, the Germans have expressed delight with the striker’s progress and qualities, endearing them to consider working on an appreciable offer for the Nigeria forward.
“The truth is, what’s happening to me is incredible. I hope the fans are as happy as I am, as we are,” the source told L’Equipe.
“The whole environment you’re talking about deserves this happiness. They are the ones who gave me the confidence that a young player needs to really explode.”
