Transfer: Victor Osimhen gives Chelsea boost for future Premier League move

Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen has still not rule a possibility of playing in the English Premier League giving clubs like Chelsea a glimpse of hope to secure his service.

The Napoli’s striker who is currently in Ivory Coast with Nigeria at the African Cup of Nations, AFCON tournament has being a subject of a move away from Diego Maradona Stadium despite decently extending his deal with the Naples club.

Notable Premier League clubs have signified interest in landing the 25 year old forward with Chelsea leading the chase.

Osimhen was asked about a possibility of playing in the Premier League and he gave a firm response that it will happen but not anytime soon.

“Of course one day, definitely, but for now I have other plans in my career I am looking forward to. When the time comes, everyone will know,” said the reigning African Footballer of the Year.

Osimhen joined Napoli in 2020 and has gone one to help the Partenopei win the Italian Serie A for the first time in over three decades.
