Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu continued his impressive run of form on Monday, scoring as Trabzonspor edged Istanbul Başakşehir 4–3 in a pulsating Turkish Süper Lig encounter.

Onuachu converted a 76th-minute penalty to put Trabzonspor ahead in a match that provided end-to-end drama throughout.

The 32-year-old led the line for the Black Sea Storm from start to finish, delivering another commanding performance in front of goal.

His latest strike takes his league tally to nine goals this season, pulling him level with Eldor Shomurodov at the top of the Süper Lig scorers’ chart.

The victory strengthens Trabzonspor’s position among the league’s front-runners, with the club now sitting third on the table on 28 points from 13 matches, keeping them firmly in the title race.

Onuachu’s form continues to provide a major boost for both Trabzonspor and the Super Eagles, with the forward emerging as one of the most clinical finishers in Turkey this season.
