Tunde Sanni slams Kwara United players over poor result against Ikorodu City

By Wale Mustapha
Coach Tunde Sanni of Kwara United has expressed disappointment following his team’s goalless draw against Ikorodu City in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday Three clash on Sunday.
The result leaves the Harmony Boys winless this season, with just one point from two matches.
Sanni attributed the lack of goals to the players’ selfishness and profligacy in front of goal, emphasizing the need to improve the team’s finishing tactics before their next match. .
“I don’t understand why my players had to be selfish upfront,” he stated in an interview with Kwara United media.
“They were too eager to score and resorted to selfish play, which wasn’t what we practiced in training.”
Kwara United will face Bayelsa United next week in Yenagoa, and Sanni is determined to address these issues to secure a better result.
