U17 AFCON: It was a Tough Match! Ugbade Reacts to Nigeria’s win against South Africa

The Nigeria U17 MNT needed to pressure a win after going behind twice, and completed second within the group behind Morocco; sealing automated progress to the final Eight.

“It was a very powerful match as a result of South Africa is a very good workforce they usually gave us a tricky time,” Ugbade stated.

“They’ve three gamers which can be actually good; Mabena (Siyabonga), Mkhawana (Vicky) and Dokunmu (Michael). They’re very gifted gamers and I used to be truthfully petrified of them at first.

“We labored a bit in coaching and we did some corrections. We realized that it was purely psychological and we talked to the gamers and we noticed an enchancment right now. We would have conceded two however I’m glad we scored three,” Ugbade defined.
