U20 Afcon: Flying Eagles set to undergo training tour abroad

Nigeria’s U-20 men’s national team will travel abroad for a training tour ahead of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The tour is organized by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) task force for age-group teams led by Aminu Balele Kurfi, to help the boys fully prepare for the cadet AFCON tournament.
“It’s most likely a tour of Europe. This will sharpen the boys before the tough task of qualifying for the U20 World Cup,” he told ScoreNigeria.
The Flying Eagles on Thursday whiplashed Paul E. Sports Academy 5-0 and will play Capital FC on Friday and are scheduled to face off with Kebbi-Selected team on Saturday.
The tournament will be staged from February 18 to March 12, 2023, in Egypt where the top four teams in the competition will represent Africa at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
