U20 Afcon: Our World Cup ticket at stake against Uganda, says Chijioke Aniagboso

Nigeria goalkeeper, Chijioke Aniagboso says the U20 World Cup is at stake as they engage Uganda in the quarter final of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations on Thursday.
Aniagboso made strings of wonderful saves to power the Flying Eagles to the quarterfinal after victories over hosts Egypt and Mozambique and the goal custodian will be keen to inspire the West Africans to the semi-final.
The NNL side Giant Brillars FC goalkeeper assures the team will continue working and keep improving, stressing that hard work will guarantee progression past the East Africans.
“We will continue from where we stopped improving our game but we’re happy to get to this stage,” Anigboso told media.
“We need to work so much harder than how we started like my coach said losing this match is like not even qualifying at all so I think we’re prepared with the coaches and by god grace we will go through.
“We are in a confident mood because we started this and we have to end it. There’s no feeling or anything. Our job is to go to the field and up our game and book our ticket.”
Nigeria took the second spot in group A by finishing with six points and Uganda topped group B with five points and an advantage of goal difference. Both sides will clash in the quarter final tie on Thursday March second 2023.
