U20 WAFU-B Tourney: Kunle Soname splashes cash on Nigeria ahead of tournament

The President of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, Remo Stars’ Hon Kunle Soname has promised Nigeria’s U-20 national team the sun of five million Naira.
The promise came with the caveat of winning the West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) title in Togo.
Soname also gave the team the sun of one million Naira on departure from Ikenne-Remo, where the team had their final training camp on Monday.
The two-time World Cup beaten finalist won the last WAFU-B tournament in Niamey, Niger Republic.
They will face Burkina Faso and Cote D’Ivoire in Group B of the tournament.
On Friday, October 18, Nigeria will start their campaign against Burkina Faso at the Stade Municipal, Togo.
Six days later, they will meet Cote D’Ivoire in their last group game.
The competition serves as the qualifiers for the next U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
