U20 World Cup: Nigeria must not to get carried away – Alloysius Agu

Former Nigeria International Alloysius Agu has urged the country’s U20 men’s national team not to get carried away with the victory against Argentina in the Round of 16 of the FIFA U20 World Cup.
The Flying Eagles stunned the host country 2-0 to reach the quarter final of the U20 World Cup and the triumph saw them rewarded with a quarterfinal duel with South Korea on Sunday.
And the former Super Eagles goalkeeper hailed the impressive form of Ladan Bosso’s side as he encourages them not to lose focus, while back them to reach the final.
“It was a good thing seeing the Flying Eagles beat Argentina in their own backyard. The boys have really made us proud,” Agu was quoted by Mainland Metro News.
“But we must not let the victory get into our heads they are still games left to be played.  If they can maintain the same attitude and composure like they did against Argentina, the Flying Eagles would be hard to beat as the approach the final.”
The Flying Eagles will face their yet no be decided opponent on the fourth of June by 6:30pm Niger time.
