Nigeria midfielder Chrisantus Uche is considering a January departure from Crystal Palace as frustration grows over his limited playing time at the Premier League club.
Uche, who joined Palace from La Liga side Getafe during the summer transfer window, has struggled to establish himself in Oliver Glasner’s squad. The 23-year-old has featured for just 67 minutes in the league this season, a situation that has left him unsettled and eager to revive his form elsewhere.
Club sources say Palace are reassessing the midfielder’s situation ahead of the winter window, with a mid-season exit now viewed as a realistic possibility. A return to Getafe is understood to be one of the strongest options, as the Spanish club remains interested in bringing him back.
With the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations approaching and competition intensifying for places in the Super Eagles squad, Uche is determined to secure regular playing time to reinforce his chances of making Nigeria’s final tournament roster.
