UECL: Gift Orban ends goal drought in Gent drubbing of Breidablik

Nigerian striker, Gift Orban snapped his nine game barren runs on Thursday, scoring one of the goals in Gent’s 5-0 bashing of Iceland side, Breidablik in the UEFA Europa Conference League encounter.
The Super Eagles invitee’s last goal for Gent was in a 2-2 Jupiler League draw against Saint-Truiden on August 20.
The forward was introduced in the second half of the encounter and he was able to find back of the net in the 69th minutes latching onto a through ball past Anton Ari Einarsson.
The goal, however taken Orban’s tally to seven in the current campaign with five of them in the European tournament.
Other goal scorers for the Buffaloes in the match were Hugo Cuypers with a brace with a goal each from Omri Gandelman and Tarik Tissoudali.
Gent are still unbeaten in the UECL after three games and sit top of the group with seven points, three more than second placed Zorya.
