UEFA Champions League: Osimhen leads Napoli to victory against Braga

Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen led Napoli to a 2-1 victory over Sporting Braga in the UEFA Champions League.

The Naples got to a flying start in the Champions League to steal an away victory at the expense of Braga in Portugal.

The Partenopei broke the deadlock on the stroke of halftime as captain, Giovanni Di Lorenzo fired to the back of the net.

In a twist of fate, Braga who were just experiencing the Champions League after an eleven years hiatus equalled the score line in the 84th minute through a pinpoint cross from Rodrigo Zalazar that found the header of striker, Bruma.

Napoli were lucky to grasp a late minute goal as Niakate diverted the ball into his own net from a dangerous cross from Piotr Zielinski.

Osimhen was a thorn the flesh of the Portuguese side but was unlucky to ink his name on the score sheet.
