Victor Boniface gets another Bundesliga award nomination

Nigeria international, Victor Boniface has been nominated for another Bundesliga award in Germany.

The Bayer Leverkusen striker who is currently injured has been nominated for the best skill of the season.

The 23-year-old’s impressive form has seen him score 10 goals and assist seven more to fire Xavi Alonso’s men to the top of the Bundesliga table.

The Super Eagles star has won four consecutive Rookie of the Month awards and has been listed amongst the top five for his trademark skill against high-flying RB Leipzig earlier in the season.

Boniface produced a cheeky piece of skill during Leverkusen’s Bundesliga game against RB Leipzig at the Bay Arena earlier in the season in August 2023.

The skill went viral on social media at the time, although Boniface did not score in that game, as Leverkusen went on to beat RB Leipzig 3-2.

However, the talented goal poacher will face stiff competition from a star-studded lineup that includes Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, who is on loan from Premier League giants, Manchester United, Super Eagles-eligible star, Felix Nmecha, another player from Dortmund, Andrej Kramaric, and Xavi Simons.

Fans will determine the winner of the award by voting on the Bundesliga’s website.
