Victor Ikpeba backs Manchester United to sign Brentford star

By Saheed Afolabi
Former Nigeria international, Victor Ikpeba has advocated for Manchester United to sign Brentford forward, Ivan Toney.
The Red Devils have already sealed the signature of Joshua Zirkzee in the summer and he immediately made hi mark by scoring the decisive lone goal victory against Fulham in the opening day of the English Premier League season.
Ikpeba believes Toney ticks the right boxes to succeed at Manchester United despite the initial arrival of Zirkzee, stressing the impact of the forward in tormenting oppositing defenders.
“They need something different like Ivan Toney [despite signing Joshua Zirkzee]. I think he has ‘issues’ with Brentford,” Ikpeba was quoted by Super Sports.
“If they can go for him, that would be good for Manchester United. He’s a tall lad; he bothers defenders, very good aerially and technically very good with the ball.
“He can take on defenders. That would be a plus for the team if they can go for him.”
